About the event
Cyanotype (or blue print) is a photographic technique discovered in 1842 by the English scientist and astronomer Sir John Herschel. In this workshop, we will learn how to mix a photosensitive solution with potassium ferricyanide and ferric ammonium citrate, coat the paper with it and expose it later with ultraviolet light (or Sunlight). This is a technique that can be done with kids and especially families who would like to have some fun, while at the same time, learn new skills. You will develop your image through different stages on this one-day taster course, and come out with a handful of prints!
This workshop is limited to 3 people at the time and is tailored according to the participant's level of knowledge in photography. Preference will be given by order of registering.
