Tiitus Petäjäniemi was invited to work for one month (July, 2019; July 2022) at Vargas Print Studio. Guest artists are invited with the purpose to support their artistic creation and work flow. Guest artists have to bring their own paper and inks or special materials, but they are not subject to any fee. Artists can, instead, contribute for Vargas Print Studio, for example, like Tiitus did, by buying brand new felts for the intaglio press! Thank you Tiitus!

AIR (artist-in-residence)

Short-term artistic residencies (1 month) are possible at Vargas Print Studio by open call soon to be published at Transartists or ResArtis websites, in which a selection process and interview is required.

 

There is also a possibility of renting the premises as an artist-in-residence under agreed fee.

 

Artists-in-residence are highly encouraged to search for funding to support their stay in Helsinki (accommodation, living costs and workshop fees).
